ABOUT THE PAINTER

Psychiatrist Alen Salerian, the son of Kristin Saleri the internationally known painter, first entered the fine arts stage in Washington DC in 2007 with blast of color and energy on canvas depicting JFK’s extraordinary life.

Bobby Muller, recipient of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize, observed

These paintings represent the passion of the artist his search of history for honesty and integrity and accountability. He is the Diogenes of our time.

Norman Mailer said

Here is one psychiatrist within roaring rage psychiatric cant and it comes out in a caterwauling fury which clears the air and enlivens one with its daring.

David Mantik said

Salerian’s paintings are both enchanting and unnerving. His paintings raise questions; Who killed so many Kennedys? Was Lee Harvey Oswald a crazy assassin or a wonderful marine serving his country to be used as a patsy to cover up horrendous crimes. Salerian makes you think. His colors on canvas offer history and life lessons.
